There are flags in front of the CDC main building. The CDC complex in Atlanta is a highly diverse collection of buildings with greatly varying architectural styles. The session describes this structural heterogeneity rather well. In particular, note the drawings of subjects in lab coats, a virtual uniform among researchers in the CDC.
