WEBMASTER'S NOTE: This well documented and very interesting target is exceptionally complex. This is not just a boat with two men on it. Among many other things, this target is a VERY noisy event that includes squadrons of U.S. Navy carrier planes flying in formation over the ceremony, large numbers of enthusiastic and boisterous troops, and notably, two large SC-1 floatplanes hanging on catapults on the USS Missouri just a few feet away from the location of General MacArthur, General Umezu, and the many other attendees during the signing ceremony.
