SRV® INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE
THE GOAL
Graduates of this course will be certified by The Farsight Institute at
the discretion of the Director of Instruction at The Farsight Institute
to instruct at one of three levels: (1) Lead Instructor capable of heading
a class with multiple students, (2) Primary Instructor capable of teaching
one-on-one (that is, one student at a time), and (3) Instructor Assistant
capable of helping with a class lead by a Lead or Primary Instructor.
MINIMUM PREREQUISITES
Applicants for instructor training need to have successfully competed the
Farsight Voyager and Farsight Seer
courses, plus obtained a positive recommendation from an already certified
instructor in SRV®. Participants who want to be able to teach Enhanced
SRV® and Advanced SRV® should also have completed those courses.
Also, instructors who are certified to teach Basic SRV® are eligible
to raise their certification lavels to include Enhanced SRV® and Advanced
SRV® by successfully completing those courses after completing instructor
certification in Basic SRV®.
CERTIFICATION
Students who complete the instructors course with a solid understanding
of the execution of the SRV® procedures will be granted certification
to teach as a Primary Instructor. Students who understand these procedures
sufficiently well to explain them with obvious confidence to a group of
introductory students will be certified as a Lead Instructor. Students who
are not yet confident in understanding and applying the mechanics of Basic
SRV will be certified as an Instructor's Assistant. Students certified at
all levels will also be expected to understand and be able to use in their
instruction the SAM computer system for objective session evaluation. If
you are certified as at lower level of certification, you can still be paid
as you continue to work on obtaining a higher level of certification. For
example, Instructor Assistants can be hired by Lead Instructors to help
them with courses with larger enrollments. Rates may vary and are determined
through negotiations between the Lead Instructors and the Instructor Assistanct.
Primary Instructors can receive full pay for teaching one-on-one.
With all certification levels, students will be assigned additional
remote viewing work to be completed at their own pace and expense
(but within a given time limit) after the instructor's course
is finished. The purpose of this additional work is to address
any gaps that may exist in the student's proficiency with Basic
SRV, as well as to define what steps should be taken for the
student to progress to the next higher level of instructor certification.
Unless a restriction is placed on a student by the Director of
Instruction at The Farsight Institute, the certified instructor
will be allowed to teach students Basic SRV while this additional
work is being completed. This additional work normally involves
a combination of solo and monitored sessions that are evaluated
on a session by session basis by someone certified at a higher
level, or as determined by the Director of Instruction at The
Farsight Institute. After completion of this additional work,
students may then apply to the Director of Instruction at The
Farsight Institute for a re-evaluation of their certification
such that they may then be certified at a higher level. They
will normally not have to repeat the Farsight Instructor
Training Course.
All instructor's certification is at the discretion of the Director of
Instruction at The Farsight Institute. Simply taking an instructor's training
course does not guarantee that one will be certified to teach SRV®.
But one should recognize that The Farsight Institute wants to certify as
many capable instructors as possible, and that all work assigned to students
in an instructor's training program will be aimed at helping them become
outstanding remote viewing instructors. Our incentive is the same as yours:
we want you to be a great instructor, and we want you to be certified to
teach SRV®.
Certified instructors of Basic SRV® are required to abide by all of
the rules for teaching SRV® as specified by the Director of Instruction
at The Farsight Institute. Failure to follow these rules is grounds for
certification to teach SRV® to be revoked. Such rules include those
relating to moral behavior between an instructor and his or her students.
TEACHING BASIC SRV®
Certified instructors of Basic SRV® can offer their instructional services
worldwide. Certification to teach Basic SRV® is for one year (12 months),
and all instructors must apply for re-certification at the end of that time
period. Re-certification will normally involved conducting one or two (possibly
more if needed) remote-viewing session(s) as assigned by the Director of
Instruction for The Farsight Institute, and under conditions (solo and/or
monitored) as assigned by the Director. This annual re-certification process
is to ensure that all instructors continue to be proficient in the mechanics
of Basic SRV®. Additional criteria may be added to the re-certification
process as to be determined by the Director of Instruction at The Farsight
Institute.
NONEXCLUSIVITY POLICY
We strongly encourage certified instructors who teach SRV® to also interact
and study with others in the remote viewing community who utilize a variety
of RV methodologies. This includes doing projects with methodologies other
than SRV®, teaching these other methodologies, studying under various
leaders in the other RV groups, and more. Becoming a certified instructor
in SRV® does not mean that you must give up your freedom to work with
others. On the contrary. We like our instructors to be hugely enthusiastic
about the remote viewing field in general, and interacting with as many
people as possible while learning along the way is a lot of fun!
However, when a student arranges to be taught SRV® from a Farsight
certified instructor, the course must present only SRV® methodology.
The course must have no "extra" content of any type, be it discussions
of other RV methodologies, wholistic health remedies, or anything else.
There must be no deviation from this. To do otherwise would be unethical
to both the student and possibly the developers of other RV methodologies.
