Remote Viewing and Religion Most of the great saints, prophets, and religious leaders of our past have suffered in order to demonstrate to humans that the nonphysical world is real, and that how we experience our physical lives makes a difference in terms of the challenges we face after our physical death. Nothing will transform spirituality into a reality for people more than the open recognition that there is scientific proof of the existence of the human soul. This one fact will cause nearly everyone to reconsider all that they do. It will put spiritual concerns on the front burner of life, so to speak. Questions regarding why we are here and what we are supposed to do with our lives to enhance our spiritual growth will no longer be musings of idle minds, but real concerns of people who are awakened to the knowledge that existence is truly greater than that which they see in front of their noses. In particular, open recognition of the reality of remote viewing has the potential to reverse the marginalization of spiritual concerns that currently plagues our increasingly physically focused world. But there is a practical side to this argument as well. If religious leaders wait until after government and science openly endorse the reality of remote viewing, then they risk the development of widespread public cynicism regarding religion itself. Such cynicism could fatally shake the very foundation of humanitys spiritual views. Remote viewers can perceive virtually anything anywhere, and it will soon be apparent to everyone that we live not alone in our universe. This public realization would completely collapse the false current ideology that we are the center of Gods universe. Many might conclude that organized religion is both wrong and obsolete, and it would be difficult for religious leaders around the globe to re-group and lead humanity in a meaningful and spiritual way. People would wonder if they were simply hearing new words that are as contrived and as untrue as the words that they heard before. In place of the stabilizing influence of organized religion, daring opportunists would most certainly spring from every corner, trying to fill the vacuum of spiritual guidance that humanity would certainly demand. This would create a potential for a new dark age in which chaos might reign over a confused and unorganized humanity for a long time. On the other hand, statements made now by important religious leaders that unequivocally argue that religion can incorporate new scientific knowledge of our own spirituality, and even about the possibility of social diversity in the universe, would place organized religion on the forefront of change, and it would allow religious leaders to continue to act as guides to humanity as we all march into this new and exciting future. The absence of such statements would mean that history would speak for religions, and it may very well assign them to the dustbin of no longer useful intellectual relics. We must avoid this tragedy. If we are to continue to evolve towards the light of God as a species, we must eschew the fear-drenched fate of the timid. We must speak the truth.
