Remote Viewing and the Human Dilemma
by Courtney Brown, Director

Humanity is at a crucial turning point in its history. We are at the end game of a great drama. It is now possible to prove scientifically, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that there is more to life than the flesh and bones within which we dwell. Our souls are real, and our physical death is but a blink in our awareness. But there is more. Now is the moment that matters for all of us. Now is the time when we all have the potential to know more about ourselves, our universe, and the reason for our existence. This is our moment, and we must seize this moment if we are to define our common destiny as a species.

Remote viewing is a trainable mental ability that can be used to collect accurate information across time and space about nearly anything. Remote viewing is not easy to do, and to use it accurately and consistently requires extensive training and practice. It involves using explicit procedures that are designed to aid communication between the physical mind, and what many now call the "subspace" mind (the soul). The result is that physical humans can learn to access a part of themselves that is normally hidden from them, that is, until they die and their bodies drop-off, leaving only their naked souls. Souls exist in subspace, that vast domain diversely referenced by mystics to theologians as, say, the etheric realm, Heaven, or the afterlife.

Proof now exists that we are indeed composite beings, beings with two aspects, subspace and physical, merged together. Our five physical senses, hearing, touch, sight, taste, and smell, normally overwhelm the intuitions that bleed into our consciousness from our subspace minds. The problem becomes so severe that most people do not know for certain if the soul even exists. They hope for the best, and pray for eternal salvation. But on a conscious level of awareness, most people are lost from their inner selves, even though the inner self is the only part that really matters. It is the only part that survives a brief physical life, and it is the only part that retains what personality we have.

We are a confused species. We need to fix a problem, a problem of knowing. We need to re-establish a common understanding of who we are, who we were, and who we will become. We need to break the limiting physical barriers of time and space so that we can reassemble the components of our broken personalities that lay in fragments more scattered than the parts of an exploding sun. We need to heal.

To heal, we need to destroy a component of the current "scientific" world view that maintains that only that which is physical is real. From the depths of this relatively new religion of scientific atheism is the belief that consciousness is limited to the physical mind, and that when the brain stops functioning, consciousness ceases to exist. When this happens, the personality of the individual is gone forever. Once one abandons this false belief by demonstrating that consciousness is not limited to the physical mind, then the remainder of the framework of scientific atheism will collapse. What will remain is an unstoppable desire among all humans to fill the vacuum left by the demise of those false ideas. This desire will naturally force everyone to turn inward, to seek that which is real, and indeed everlasting. This is the beginning of what will be our species’ new desire to understand the true nature of God. This will be the dawning of a new scientific age that does not divorce itself from that which is spiritual.

To accomplish all of this, we need a tool, and that tool is remote viewing. There is now a new scientific field of consciousness that specializes in the study of this phenomenon. The Farsight Institute is dedicated to the further development of this new field through its own research, and through teaching.

The human dilemma results from the dual facts that our ultimate destiny is determined by our evolution as spiritual beings, yet we live within physical bodies that hide our spiritual side from us. Our challenge is to break through the physical barrier to rediscover who we really are. At a deep level, the yearning of our souls to grow, to evolve, drives all that we do and all that we become, and nothing, nothing can stop that irrepressible need to BE.
